International Women’s Day 2025 Joint Statement

For ALL Women and Girls:

Rights. Equality. Empowerment.

On this International Women’s Day, we are proud to stand united for the fifth year in a row in support of the UN theme: For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.

As we celebrate the strides made by women in aviation, we recognize that our work is far from complete. Underrepresentation of women in aviation, particularly in leadership roles, continues worldwide. We must work together to raise awareness through education and create sustainable change within our industry every single day, not just once a year.

We urge our Member Associations and the global community to reflect on the achievements of women in aviation. We must recognize that equal treatment in the workplace is a fundamental human right that should be upheld in every industry.

Let us build on the momentum created on this day and not lose sight of the ongoing work that is still required. We must remain dedicated to supporting the next generation of aviation professionals through mentorship, solidarity, and allyship.

Let us continue our efforts to ensure that we advance equality, promote empowerment, and work towards a future where all women and girls can thrive.
